Offscript is an early pilot operated by Eoin O’Kane. This notice describes the candidate, employer and introduction features in the pilot.
What we store
Your sign-in email, account and security records, and the profile information you choose to save: name, headline, location, LinkedIn URL, experience, role preferences and career interests. We record when you agree to profile-based contact. Employer accounts also store contact and company details, hiring briefs and salary ranges. We store introduction requests, the details proposed for sharing, your responses, private operator review notes and support conversations.
Why we use it
To provide your account, save your profile, operate the pilot and contact you about relevant opportunities when you agree. Profile contact is optional: you can delete your profile and continue to retain a sign-in account. There is no guarantee of an introduction or placement.
Who can access it
Your profile is not public or available to other candidates. Eoin can review candidate profiles and employer briefs to run the pilot. An employer can see your profile snapshot and email only after you approve a specific introduction. You can inspect exactly what would be shared on your Introductions page before deciding. Employers must use those details only for the hiring conversation you approved.
We use Vercel to host the application, Supabase for accounts and data, and Resend to deliver sign-in emails and enabled account, introduction, support and optional opportunity emails. These providers process information needed to operate the service. If a security challenge is enabled on sign-in, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser information to help prevent automated abuse.
Your optional CV
If you upload a CV, we store the PDF privately in Supabase Storage for you and the Offscript team to review. It is not automatically shared with employers or used to fill your profile. You can download, replace or remove it from your profile. Account deletion blocks access immediately and queues removal of the stored file; deleting your candidate profile through the app removes its CV first.
Preferences and suggestions
We store the work, location, experience and practical preferences you provide, the roles you save or hide, and any optional achievement or portfolio link. Suggestions compare your stated preferences with our available catalogue. They are guidance, not a decision about your suitability for employment. Employers make their own hiring decisions.
We keep an unfinished setup in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. After sign-in, saved steps can also be restored from your account. Sign-in codes are never included in the draft.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your candidate profile from your profile page. Deletion withdraws consent to profile-based contact and removes your introduction snapshots from this application. You can also withdraw an individual employer’s access from Introductions. Withdrawal cannot recall information an employer has already read or saved. Use Settings to pause new introductions, choose optional emails, download your account data or request permanent deletion of both workspaces. Pausing leaves previously approved sharing in place; you can withdraw that separately. Deletion requires a fresh sign-in check. If automatic deletion is unavailable, contact Support. Backups may retain deleted records for their configured retention period.
Optional opportunity emails and reminders are off unless you choose them. Email unsubscribe links stop opportunity emails without deleting your account. Sign-in, requested introduction decisions and support replies are separate. We retain limited delivery, consent and deletion records to handle failures, honour your choices and prevent unwanted messages. Retention periods for the expanded service must be finalised before a broader launch.
Cookies and service activity
We use authentication cookies to keep you signed in. We record a small set of account actions, such as completing setup, viewing suggestions, saving or hiding a role, and opening an external application link, to understand whether the service is useful. These events do not contain profile text, sign-in codes or message contents. Opening an application link does not tell us whether you applied. We use no advertising trackers or email tracking pixels.
